Always leave yourself the space to pivot.

A question that comes up, sadly a lot more than we, the marketers, would like, is what to post, if anything, during crisis. This week, I struggled a lot with this question.

For me, it comes down to this: always leave yourself the space to pivot.

When it doesn’t feel right to publish the post you had planned, don’t post it.

If it’s scheduled, unschedule it.

If you need to jump in and revamp your whole social calendar for the week, revamp it.

If you feel the need to post something, think for awhile before you do, and be tasteful about it.

Moving forward with business as usual during crisis just does not feel right. And it shouldn’t.

This week, I’m sharing five third party aggregate listings of climate and sustainability events happening this year. By no means are these the only events out there. There are hundreds of smaller, regional and local events that you can attend this year — to speak, collaborate, network, or to simply get an education.
