Here's the thing about personal branding and SEO.
Your weekly digest of hot opps and personal branding goodness.
Your personal brand has a digital component, and a big part of that is your search engine results.
Here’s the thing about personal branding and SEO.
When you Google yourself or your business, what do you see?
Are you seeing a beautiful cross section of relevant media – images, articles, audio and video? Or are you seeing a scattershot of results, mostly dated and irrelevant to your work?
In the age of digital influence, online visibility is at the very core of success in business. According to SEO.ai, as of April 2024, Google processes about 99,000 search queries every second, which translates to 8.5 billion searches per day. Humans are constantly searching for things: solutions to questions, travel tips and accommodations, products, services and… people.
The truth is that most people have very few items of substance in their search results. Even owners of some of the world’s most profitable businesses tend to fall short in the eyes of the search gods. They simply don’t have any digital content attached to their names… and therein lies the opportunity.
Most business owners – even the best leaders with incredible track records for success – are doing the basics when it comes to personal branding.
The ones who are doing the extras – writing original articles, guesting on podcasts, offering up their expert advice to the media – are winning. They are, by way of the internet, more visible and arguably… more legitimate… because they are managing their optics. And they have their search results to prove it.
To stand out against competitors in business, you have to be doing the extras… well before the funding interview or the sales pitch. You’ve got to carve out your niche and dominate it. You’ve got to embrace the art of personal branding and do what it takes to become the lead marketer of yourself.
Expand your influence. Build your wealth. Celebrate your success.

Every day, they’re working to grow small businesses, create 21st century jobs, drive innovation, and increase America’s global competitiveness. National Diversity Awards
As part of the annual National Diversity and Leadership Conference, the National Diversity Awards honor individuals across a range of categories. Here are two particular categories of note for this year’s event.
The Top 50 Inclusive Leaders Award celebrates individuals who embody the principles of inclusivity and diversity in leadership. This prestigious accolade honors leaders who have demonstrated a steadfast commitment to fostering inclusive environments, promoting equity, and championing diversity within their organizations and communities. Through their visionary leadership and advocacy, these individuals have created cultures where every voice is heard, valued, and empowered to thrive.
In a landscape where leadership remains predominantly male, especially at the executive level, exceptional women have persevered, breaking barriers to rise to the highest ranks in their fields. The National Diversity Council proudly recognizes these trailblazing women, honoring their dedication, resilience, and remarkable achievements. This award celebrates not only their personal success but also their pivotal role in paving the way for future generations. These leaders have made it easier for others to follow in their footsteps, fostering a more inclusive and equitable workplace for all.
Key Dates: April 1, 2025 is the deadline for all awards but they are accepting and honoring awardees on a rolling basis.
